It’s getting closer and closer. The day when we all finally get to travel back to the enchanted lands of Agrabah with Aladdin, Abu, Jasmine, Jafar, and, of course, the Genie. To usher in a bit more of that special magic, Disney released a brand new, live-action Aladdin poster for IMAX theaters.

The poster is gorgeous. It has a whimsical feel, while staying true to the essence of what makes Aladdin so special. If you want more, head over and watch the trailer for the new live-action Aladdin as well. It’s sure to be a magic carpet ride that we won’t soon forget!

As you probably know, the new film is directed by none other than Guy Ritchie, a director whose frenetic style should deliver amazing action sequences and an incredible feel to the city of Agrabah. The screenplay for Aladdin was penned by acclaimed screenwriter John August.

The movie comes out on May 24th of this year and features star actors like Will Smith as the Genie; Mena Massoud as the leading man, Aladdin; Naomi Scott as the timeless Jasmine; Marwan Kenzari as nefarious Jafar; Alan Tudyk as sidekick Iago, the parrot; and Navid Negahban as the Sultan.

What do you think of the new poster? Will you watch Aladdin in IMAX? Let me know in the comments!

Have a magical day!
