Jameela Jamil will come crashing in as supervillain Titania in the upcoming Marvel show She-Hulk. The star is set to appear alongside Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner / Hulk) and Tim Roth (Emil Blonsky/Abomination) in this highly anticipated addition to the MCU lineup on Disney Plus.

Jameela Jamil To Make Her First Marvel Appearance

Jameela Jamil had her breakout role as socialite Tahani Al-Jamil in NBC’s The Good Place.

She has also done voice work in DuckTales and Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous

Marvel has so far declined to comment on casting, but we can’t wait to see what Jamil does with her role as She-Hulk’s archnemesis!

Instead of the smashing and bashing we’re used to, She-Hulk is going to be a “half-hour legal comedy.”

At least that’s what Feige told us so far…

Who Is the Titania Marvel Villain?

Titania possesses the superhuman strength of a mythical titan and is She-Hulk’s main villain.

The character first appeared in 1984’s Secret Wars No. 3, introduced by writer Jim Shooter and artist Mike Zeck.

Titania, aka Mary MacPherran, started life as a short and scrawny girl. She gained super strength and endurance when she was exposed to alien technology.

What Can We Expect From She-Hulk?

There isn’t a lot of information available on the show itself, and Marvel and Disney Plus aren’t likely to spoil any surprises any time soon.

We suspect the show to be a “lawroom comedy” based on what Fiege has mentioned in previous interviews. We also know some major plot points the show might cover from the original comic.

She-Hulk will star Tatiana Maslany as Jennifer Walters, a lawyer-turned-accidental-superhero. In the comic, she receives an emergency blood transfusion from her cousin, none other than Bruce Banner/Hulk himself.

Meanwhile, Titania receives her titan powers from Doctor Doom! While Doctor Doom is not likely to make an appearance in the first season, Titania is scheduled to appear in every episode!

Kat Corio (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Florida Girls) is leading the way with the She-Hulk pilot, along with head writer Jessica Gao (Rick & Morty).

Mark Ruffalo and Tim Roth (Hulk and Abomination) will make appearances in the upcoming 10-episode season.

What We Know About She-Hulk‘s TV Schedule

The new Disney+ show is filming now and is scheduled to continue filming until August 30, 2021. She-Hulk and Titania should make their appearance on the streaming service in 2022 as a 10-episode series.

Based on emerging trends on Disney Plus, we predict the show to come out every week on Wednesdays. This will follow the example set by the MCU’s most recent show premier, Loki.

What Can We Watch While We Wait?

We’re all excited to watch these two powerful female leads in what is sure to be a fun twist on the usual superhero show. Marvel hasn’t let us down yet, and She-Hulk is sure to SMASH our expectations…in a good way!

In the meantime, there’s plenty for Marvel fans with a Disney Plus subscription to get excited about, including:

  • Loki, now available with new episodes every Wednesday
  • What If…? (animated, August 2021)
  • Hawkeye (2021)
  • Ms. Marvel (late 2021)

That gives us plenty to watch and catch up on before Jameela Jamil makes her first Marvel appearance as Titania in 2022 on Disney Plus.

Have a marvelous day!
