Disney Plus is all the rage right now, and with good reason. It offers the best and easiest and cheapest way to watch all our favorite Disney movies, TV shows, and original content. With all that great stuff available, you might be wondering, “How to watch Disney Plus on TV?”
Well, I’m here to give you all the answers right now!
Below, I provide the list of all the ways you can get Disney+ on your TV and how to go about getting Disney Plus onto your Samsung TV, Apple TV, Playstation, or other smart TV console.

1. How To Watch Disney Plus on Apple TV
If you have a subscription to Disney+ and you also own an Apple TV, there are just a few steps that you need to follow in order to get up and running. With these steps, you’ll learn how to get Disney Plus on your Apple TV in no time at all.
After this, you won’t need to ask, “How do I get Disney Plus on my Apple TV?” In fact, you’ll be able to answer that question for others! The go-to Disney+ family expert! (I apologize in advance for the extra phone calls and texts you’re going to receive…)
Step 1: Download the Disney Plus app from the Apple TV App Store.
Step 2: Sign in to the Disney Plus app on your Apple TV home screen. (Note: After you download the app, it might show up at the bottom of your home screen. The home screen is the one that has all your other applications, like Netflix, Hulu, or HBO.
Step 3: If you’ve created your profiles already, you can simply select your profile from the onscreen options. My wife and I have Donald Duck and Daisy Duck as ours. We have a Guest account with Goofy as the icon. You can choose from dozens of classic Disney favorites, from Mickey and Friends characters to Star Wars and much more.
Step 4: Select the genre of show you want to watch. Select the movie or TV show. And enjoy!

2. How To Watch Disney Plus on Samsung TV
If you have a Disney+ subscription to and you have a Samsung TV (also called a Samsung Smart TV), there are just a couple of steps that you need to go through in order to get going.
Just follow these steps, and you’ll know how to get Disney Plus on your Samsung TV faster than you can say Bippity Boppity Boo!
When you’re finished, you won’t have to ask, “How do I get Disney Plus on my Samsung TV?” You’ll be good to go!
Step 1: Turn on your Samsung Smart TV and make sure it is connected to the internet in the settings panel.
Step 2: Select the Disney Plus app from the row of applications that are at the bottom of your television screen. For me, it was about a half dozen or so apps to the right when I got my Samsung TV.
Step 3: If you’ve created your profiles already, you can simply select your profile from the onscreen options. My wife and I have Donald Duck and Daisy Duck as ours. If you have a Disney+ subscription to and you have a Playstation (known as PS4), there are just a few steps that you need to follow to get streaming.
Just follow these steps, and you’ll be the resident expert for how to get Disney Plus on a PS4.
When you’re finished, you won’t have to ask, “How do I get Disney Plus on my PlayStation PS4?” You’ll be streaming The Lion King and Jeff Goldblum with the rest of us!
There are a few more steps to this one than the others, so I’ve broken it down a bit more. Try to follow these steps. If you get confused, please let me know in the comments and I’ll help you out!
Step 1: Make sure your PS4 is plugged in and turned on
Step 2: Navigate to the PlayStation Store
Step 3: Do a search for Disney Plus in the PlayStation Store
Step 4: Click on Disney Plus and then select download beneath the image on the left side of the TV screen
Step 5: Move over to the TV & Video icon and click on Disney Plus’s icon
Step 6: Sign in to your Disney+ account (email and password)
Step 7: Find the movie, TV show, or other original content you want to watch and let the streaming party begin!

4. How To Watch Disney Plus on Vizio TV
If you have a Disney+ subscription to and you have a Vizio Smart TV, there’s good news and bad news…
For the good news, you can watch Disney+ on your Vizio TV. The bad news is that they do not currently have a Disney Plus native, built-in app for Vizio.
Even so, there is a way! And when you’re done here, you won’t have to ask, “How do I get Disney Plus on my Vizio TV?” You’ll be streaming The Lion King and Jeff Goldblum with the rest of us!
Step 1: Turn on your Vizio Smart TV
Step 2: You will need to SmartCast the content from your other Apple Device, such as an iPhone or iPad with the Disney+ app installed, or using a MacBook or iMac computer with the AirPlay feature.
Note: According to the Vizio website, “Currently, these features are available on 2019, 2018, 2017 SmartCast Televisions, and 2016 UHD SmartCast models.”
That’s all there is to it for now. If you follow these steps to SmartCast or AirPlay Disney Plus to your Vizio TV, you should be all set. Until Vizio gets a built-in app, this is the best option for Vizio Smart TV owners.
