If there’s one thing that Disney fans love, it’s original movie musicals that we can sing along with. According to Variety Magazine, Disney is now developing an all-new original movie musical based on the music and songs of the iconic musician and singer Lionel Richie.

Disney’s New Lionel Richie Movie Musical: ‘All Night Long’
Currently, the movie is titled All Night Long, after one of Richie’s many popular songs.
His catalogue is enormous, so the writers should have no trouble stacking the film with tons of great hits audiences will love.
While still in the development phase, Disney is reportedly vying for a major release in movie theaters. The other option would be to send it straight to home video on Disney Plus, as they’ve done with many recent releases.
According to IMDb, the screenwriter is Pete Chiarelli. The producers currently include Lionel Richie himself, Bruce Eskowitz (Richie’s manager) Matt Del Piano, and Dana Brunetti.
