SEE UPDATED MOVIE RELEASE SCHEDULE FOR 2022-2028 HERE

As I’ve mentioned elsewhere, this is a fantastic year to be a Disney fan. We’ve already seen the releases of Captain Marvel, Dumbo, and Avengers: Endgame. Those three were definitely blockbuster movies and brought people out in droves, especially Avengers, which broke all kinds of box office records in the process. With many more Disney movies to come this year, we also now have more reason to rejoice. Disney has just dropped an updated movie release schedule through 2027 – including FOX!

This is in addition to the Aladdin movie coming out later in May, and The Lion King, Toy Story 4, Frozen 2, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywaker, and many others already waiting in the wings for release later in 2019 (along with Disney+!).

There are some huge names on this list. I personally can’t contain my excitement about a feature-length Bob’s Burgers. Maybe I’m biased, but I think that title seems practically perfect in every way for the Disney family.

Keep in mind that this list is not exhaustive, especially as it gets further into the future. For example, 2024-2027 only have one film listed as slated for release apiece, alternating between Star Wars and Avatar films respectively. I’m very curious to see where Disney takes the Avatar series and how they develop and expand on the existing universe that James Cameron has already created (to blockbuster success).

Finally, there are also a handful of hidden goodies and treasures tucked into the list that fans (like us) are sure to be excited about. One shining examples is coming in 2021: there’s a new Indiana Jones movie slated to come out that year! As a major fan of the originals, I simply cannot wait to see this newest installment in the story of the greatest archaeologist of all (fictional) time.

Take a look at the list below. Does anything strike you as exciting or interesting? Let me know in the comments!

Have a magical day!
