Star Wars: Tales From The Galaxy’s Edge Virtual Reality

Virtual gamers and Star Wars fans, unite: The Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge Virtual Reality game is coming this year!

The new concept pictures of the Star Wars Hotel were just released recently, and now this!

As a die-hard fan of Star Wars, I’m enjoying this very much.

The new and galactic experience will definitely be one for the books.

This VR experience will “bring adventures on Batuu home to you,” according to Scott Trowbridge.

Today, I’m excited to share that later this year, you will be able to discover new stories, explore the outskirts of Batuu, and meet new characters from your home thanks to ILMxLAB, Lucasfilm’s award-winning entertainment studio, and Oculus Studios.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge is an action-packed adventure dedicated to fans and gamers.

In this virtual reality game, fans will have the chance to have a very personal Star Wars experience.

The original story, according to Trowbridge, will feature both the iconic as well as the new characters from the Star Wars galaxy.

There will be multiple gameplay styles and difficulty settings to cater to all kinds of players.

This way, everyone can enjoy their Star Wars experience.

What the Star Wars Virtual Reality Experience Offers

In this game, players will be able to explore the outskirts of Batuu, which is a remote terrestrial planet.

Batuu is located at the edge of the Star Wars galaxy’s outer rim territories (as well as at the Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks, of course).

The game will also allow players to meet new characters in the comfort of their very own home. 

All thanks to ILMxLAB and Oculus Studios.

In case you didn’t know, ILMxLAB is Lucasfilm’s award-winning entertainment studio.

Similar to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the story in the virtual reality game will take place between Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, on Batuu.

The engaging and heart-pounding adventure will occur along the outskirts of the Black Spire Outpost.

This extension of the storytelling found at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge builds on the lore of a land that has redefined what a Disney park experience can be, and we can’t wait for you to experience it yourself!

Final Words

It’s been almost a year since the dedication of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. 

Releasing this virtual reality game is an excellent move for Disney, since Star Wars fans love to experience the galaxy far, far away as much as they (we) can.

In addition, the game isn’t targeting Star Wars fans only; it’s also aiming to satisfy the hearts of VR gamers. 

We’re not sure if the game’s music will be the same with the Star Wars music specially composed for Galaxy’s Edge, but I believe the music plus the game itself would be fantastic.

All in all, this is exciting news, and personally, I can’t wait for its official release!
