A list of new Funko Pops might have spoiled the main villain of the upcoming Marvel movie, The Eternals…
The New Funko Pops List
In April, a list of new Funko Pops was released, and characters from Marvel’s The Eternals were included.
However, that list might’ve just confirmed a fan theory about the main villain of the movie.
One of the Pop! Eternals characters is Kro.
Ever since Marvel announced The Eternals, a few bad guys have been rumored to be the antagonists of the film.Â
Later, during the Eternals Comic Con Experience (CCXP) in 2019, Kevin Fiege confirmed that the Deviants, specifically, will be seen in the film.
So, what do the Deviants and Eternals have to do with Kro?
Kro and His Relation to the Eternals
Warning: Spoilers ahead!
For those who are unaware, Kro is a supervillain, also referred to as the Warlord Kro.
He is the military commander of the Deviants, destructive counterparts of the Eternals.
In addition, he is an immortal shapeshifter with superhuman strength, stamina, and healing powers.
Note: The Celestials created both the Eternals and Deviants as part of their genetic experiments.Â
At one point, Kro fell in love with Thena, the daughter of Zuras, who was the ruler of the Eternals on Earth.
Some have said that Kro was similar to Romeo, and Thena to Juliet, in the comics, so it’ll be interesting to see if the Eternals film will include their relationship as well.
A More Detailed Funko Pops Eternals List
Just recently, another list came out.
This time, aside from Kro, it included another character that was not mentioned before: Arishem the Judge.Â
Arishem is a crucial member of the Celestials, as he is the one who decides whether a planet continues to live or not.
He is also the second most powerful Celestial, next to the One Above All.
If he shows up in the Eternals, he might be involved in the safety (or destruction) of Earth.
More About the Eternals Film
Directed by Chloé Zhao, Eternals is one of the most hotly anticipated MCU movies, for a number of reasons.
This quick overview of the storyline gives you some reason why that’s the case.
Marvel Studios’ The Eternals features an exciting new team of Super Heroes in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, ancient aliens who have been living on Earth in secret for thousands of years. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, an unexpected tragedy forces them out of the shadows to reunite against mankind’s most ancient enemy, The Deviants.
Overview of Eternals
In other words, the whole thing ties into the MCU in a brand new way. As a major Marvel Cinematic Universe fan, I can’t wait to see how it all goes down.
Here are some of the outstanding cast members:
- Angelina Jolie as Thena
- Gemma Chan as Sersi
- Richard Madden as Icarus
- Brian Tyree Henry as Phastos
- Don Lee as Gilgamesh
- Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo
- Lauren Ridloff as Makkari
- Salma Hayek as Ajak
- Lia McHugh as Sprite
- Kit Harrington as Dane Whitman
Eternals has completed filming and is now in the post-production process.
The film was supposed to hit theaters on November 6, 2020, but because of the global situation, the release date has been changed to February 12, 2021.

Final Thoughts
Given that Kro is the leader of the Deviants and that the summary of the film confirms their appearance, the Funko Pop list may not actually be so much of a spoiler after all.
From this perspective, the list is really more of a confirmation of the film’s main villain.
If Kro and Arishem are indeed included, then The Eternals might be the first one to have the most number of god-like beings in an MCU film.
Can’t wait to find out!
