What Day Do New Releases Come Out on Disney Plus?
Disney Plus has decided to release some of their new shows, like WandaVision, the first series in Phase Four of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, on one day per week, to give it that old school weekly release feel.
That day of the week is Friday.
AKA, all new weekly releases for TV shows (that we know of so far!) will come out on Friday every week.
That includes WandaVision, starring Wanda and Vision, two super-powered beings living in suburbia. This new series merges the style of classic sitcoms with the MCU.
How Many Episodes Do New Shows Have on Disney Plus?
This one is trickier to answer, because different shows will have varying numbers of episodes.
For WandaVision, the newest show — it premiered with 2 episodes on January 15th and will run until March 5th, showcasing a total of nine episodes.
The Mandalorian also had around the same number of episodes. As opposed to seasons with 20 or more episodes like big cable has done, Disney+ seems to be keeping most shows to around 8-12 episodes per season, from what we can tell.
What Time Do New Episodes Release on Disney+ Each Week?
We already know that new Disney+ TV shows tend to come out once per week, and that happens on Fridays.
But what time do these shows come out? That’s the real question, and here is the answer!
What time do new Disney Plus TV shows release and come out on Fridays? Most episodes of Disney+ original content, including WandaVision, will be released on Fridays at 12:01 am PST / 03:01 am EST. So, be sure to set your alarms and be the first to catch what your favorite characters are up to each week!
Can I Binge WandaVision on Disney Plus?
We cannot currently binge WandaVision due to its release model (like The Mandalorian)…
However, if this is your preferred method of viewing, you can always just wait until the season is officially over and watch them all at once.
However, beware of spoilers! You may need to go on a media blackout until then! 😉
