This list is based on how the story unfolds in fictional time.

EXAMPLE: Captain Marvel happens fictionally in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) during the 1990’s, but it was released in movie theaters in the year 2019.

1900-1999 (Before the Avengers)

2000-2016 (Avengers Era)

This list is based entirely on when the films came out, beginning with the first Iron Man in 2008 in Phase One of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

Below is the list that includes only the movies, NOT the TV show series that are slated for release on Disney Plus.

Note: The movies in Phase 4 of the MCU (and past that) do not all have release dates. Due to the nature of the entertainment industry at the moment, movie theater release dates are constantly changing. Because of that, I’ve included the expected year of theatrical release, not the month and day.
